Network Engineer Job Responsibilities:
- Work with, or as, Team lead
- Establish and maintain network performance by building network configurations and connections; troubleshooting network problems.
- Establish networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
- Maximize network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with Helpdesk team on network optimization.
- Secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
- Build and maintain Group Policies to streamline and secure networks
- Work with Helpdesk team to create, update and modify processes and procedures as needed
- Continuing Education to stay current on all new and current technologies which can help our client's networks.
